BADGER DAYLIGHTING LTD. ANNOUNCES RESULTS FOR THE
NINE MONTHS ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2014 AND ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES
Calgary, Alberta – Badger Daylighting Ltd. (the “Company” or “Badger”) is pleased to announce its results for the nine months ended September 30, 2014 and the continued strengthening of its management and oversight through an executive appointment and Board renewal.
As part of a board renewal process, Badger’s long-serving Board Chairman, George Watson, has announced his retirement, both as Chairman and as a member of the Board. George joined the Badger Board in early 2000 and for the next 14 years guided the Company with sage advice and dedicated leadership. The Board, together with Badger’s management, thank him for his contributions to Badger’s success and wish him good fortune in the future. He will be missed.
Concurrent with George Watson’s retirement, the Board of Directors has appointed Glen Roane as the Chairman effective immediately. The Board and management are pleased that Glen has accepted the Chairmanship and look forward to his leadership. As part of the continuous board renewal program, Badger will seek to add other board members in the future to provide additional strength and capabilities in this important oversight function.
Effective January 1, 2015 John Kelly, Badger’s Executive Vice President – USA, is appointed Chief Operating Officer of Badger Daylighting. After doubling the size of the United States company within three years, John will now be responsible for all operations, both in Canada and the U.S. John will report to Tor Wilson, Badger’s CEO, and will be located in the Company’s Pittsboro, Indiana office. A search is underway for a U.S. Vice President to replace John and add depth to the Executive group.
